How to get there
We offer excellent connections from several European cities via Helsinki to Kuopio. The flight time varies depending on the routing from only 4 hours totally with one transfer at Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

During July we do not fly to Kuopio but we recommend you to really enjoy the beautiful lakeland scenery by renting a car in Helsinki and driving to Kuopio. The distance is 390 km and it takes about 4 hours. The rent for a week is about 38 € per day.
The main road from Helsinki to Kuopio region is Highway 5. All the new municipalities in the Kuopio region are served by a well-maintained road network. Blue1 offers affordable one-way flights to Helsinki.
