Blind or deaf passengers
All blind or deaf passengers, traveling without escort or travel companion, will be assisted by a local airport assistance company. Please request this service well in advance via the Blue1 Sales Center.
Guide dogs
You are allowed to bring your seeing eye dog or hearing aid dog on board, free of charge. The dog is excluded from weight limitation and container requirement when traveling in the cabin.
For all other medical needs, like lie flat transportation (stretcher), etc., the Medical Department needs to be consulted. In most cases, a medical certificate (MEDIF) and accompanying passenger(s) plus a doctor or nurse will be required.
