Cancelled flights

Please accept our apologies for your cancelled flight. We are aiming to find the best possible solution for you and below you find different options you can choose from.

I would like to travel with another flight
When a flight is cancelled we will look for alternative flights to your destination. If you haven’t received a text message with rebooking information we recommend you go to the airport in time for your original booking and contact Blue1 or our representative at the Airport.
In case your waiting time at the airport is long, we offer you assistance. You can read more here.

If your booking was made by a travel agent you can also choose to contact them. If you have bought a flexible ticket, your travel agent may also help you with the rebooking.

I would like to travel to my destination by other means of transportation
When a flight is cancelled we will do our best to rebook you to another flight. If you choose other means of  transportation we will reimburse your unused flight ticket. For reimbursement of other costs please contact your travel insurance company.

I would like to cancel my trip
When your flight is cancelled your can choose to have your ticket reimbursed if you would like to cancel the trip.  If you made the reservation on Blue1 web pages or via Blue1 Sales Center you can apply for the refund here.
If the booking was made via a travel agency (including online travel agencies) or a tour operator, please contact the agency where you bought your tickets.

Blue1 will refund the money within 7 days. Depending on which credit card company you have, the refund will usually be visible on your credit card account in connection with the next month’s invoicing.


What rights do I have as a passenger?
We follow the recommendations in EU regulation 261/2004. Here you can read about your rights as a passenger when your flight is cancelled or delayed.
