Blue1 to strengthen its business travel network 2011 with new code-share operations
In 2011, Blue1’s business travel network will be further enhanced with new code-share flights, in co-operation with United/Continental Airlines, Swiss and Brussels Airlines.
As from February 2011, United/Continental Airlines will add its (CO) prefix on Continental Airlines’ flight connections between Helsinki - Newark/New York and Helsinki - Houston, via Stockholm, Copenhagen, Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris.
The code-share partnership with Swiss will soon include both the daily Blue1 connections between Helsinki and Zurich, opening a number of new business destinations via Zurich around the world.
As from March 2011, Blue1 will add new frequencies between Helsinki and Brussels, totaling the number of Blue1 weekly frequencies on Helsinki-Brussels route from 11 to 15 flights. As earlier, the new Blue1 frequencies will be operated in code-share partnership with Brussels Airlines.
Blue1, United/Continental Airlines, Swiss and Brussels Airlines are all members of Star Alliance.
