1,4 million passengers flew with Blue1 in 2009
In 2009 Blue1 transported 1,4 million passengers, with a 0,4 p.u. higher load factor.
The number of Blue1 passengers in 2009 was 1 463 000. The general decline in demand for air travel translated into 9% decrease of passengers, in comparison to year before.
The total Blue1 traffic (RPK) decreased by 4 % and capacity (ASK) as well by 4 %. The total load factor improved by 0.4 p.u to 65.1%.
- Domestic traffic decreased by 6 % , 393 000 passengers with load factor 55,5 %.
- Scandinavian traffic decreased by 14 %, 715 000 passengers with load factor 61,3 %.
- European trafic decreased by 1 %, 356 000 passengers with load factor 70,8%.
In 2009 87,9 % of Blue1 flights departed on time, up by 3,3 p.u. The regularity was 98.7% (97,9 % in 2008).
