It’s Service & Simplicity! July 1st we are introducing a new and easier baggage allowance concept for customers travelling from October 1, 2010. To simplify for our passengers we are introducing a harmonized piece concept with the same free baggage allowance regardless of destination.
The new baggage rules apply for all flights operated by SAS, Blue1 and Widerøe and on many destinations this new concept means an increased free baggage allowance for the customer.
Our Eurobonus Gold and Silver members can as always, bring one extra bag free of charge.
Extra baggage
For those passengers who wish to bring extra baggage, in addition to what they can bring for free, we will simplify how we calculate and charge. In most cases we are also significantly lowering prices for extra baggage.
To make it simple and time efficient you will be able to pay for the extra baggage in the Self Service kiosks at the airport or on the Internet when you check-in. Charges for excess baggage are harmonized across the SAS Group network.
