During 2012, we will open several new routes from different regions in Finland directly to Copenhagen and Stockholm. The new routes are Oulu-Stockholm, Oulu-Copenhagen, Kokkola-Stockholm and Pori-Stockholm. Service on the new routes will begin on 25 March 2012.
Other planned routes are nonstop flights from Lappeenranta and Vaasa directly to Copenhagen.
From Stockholm and Copenhagen, you have a wide array of connections to choose from, to Europe and far-off destinations. From Copenhagen, for instance, you can access no fewer than 140 destinations around the world through direct flight connections. That is substantially more compared to Helsinki-Vantaa airport, which offers direct flights to only around 80 destinations.
Stockholm and Copenhagen are both known for being excellent airports for stopovers. The airport services are extremely diverse. For example, Copenhagen’s Kastrup airport offers 125 different restaurants, cafés and shops, so you’ll have no trouble finding something delicious to eat while waiting for your flight. Direct Blue1/SAS flights from Tampere and Turku to Copenhagen and Stockholm and from Vaasa to Stockholm will continue.
