Blue1 starts operations between Helsinki and Berlin/Brussels in cooperation with Lufthansa and Brussels Airlines in March 2010.
The route Helsinki - Brussels which opens March 29, 2010 will be operated twice daily from Monday to Friday and once on Sundays with AvroRJ85 aircraft.
The route Helsinki - Berlin opening March 1, 2010 will be operated daily during weekdays and Saturdays. Together with Star Alliance partners Lufthansa and SAS Blue1 now offers even more convenient travel to/from destinations in Germany.
Blue1, Lufthansa and SAS are all members of the biggest alliance in the world, Star Alliance. American Continental Airlines joined Star Alliance in October 27, 2009. Together with Star Alliance partners Blue1 flies to more than 1 000 cities in 171 countries around the world. The Star Alliance family will grow in December 2009 when Brussels Airlines joins the Alliance.
