By adding the travel cancellation fee you will be assured of a full refund in the event you suddenly become ill prior to your flight.
Blue1 offers a travel cancellation guarantee on online reservations in case of acute illness on the day of departure. By paying a 9 € fee per flight and per passenger, Blue1 will refund your flight fare, including government taxes. For round-trip travel, the cost is 18 €, which covers the whole trip.
The guarantee must be purchased at the time of your flight reservation. The optional service fee is added to the fare and is included in the total fare charged to your credit or payment card. The fee is automatically included in the total fare on the confirmation page. You will receive confirmation of the charged fee in your travel confirmation.
Note! The guarantee is individual and covers the flight fare for the person mentioned in the doctor's certificate.

After canceling your reservation with our Blue1 Sales Center, you will be required to forward us a doctor's certificate confirming your illness on the day of departure. Once we have a doctor's certificate and a copy of your ticketless travel confirmation, we will be able to issue your refund.
