How to book online
- Make sure you have a credit card you can use for booking. The passenger also needs a credit card or another suitable card, such as a EuroBonus card, for identification. If needed, order a EuroBonus card now, so that you can use its number for identification.
- Go to the Blue1 main page.
- Use the booking form as follows:
- If you wish to book a trip in one direction only, select “One-way”.
- Type in the departure city or airport. It is usually sufficient to type the three first letters. The system will fill in the matching name. If there are several matches, they will be shown, and you can select one by clicking. You can also enter the start of a country name or area name like Lapland to see a list of alternatives.
- Similarly, type in the destination city or airport.
Select the departure date by clicking the calendar icon and selecting a date from a calendar popup. Alternatively, you can type the date, but it must be in the numeric format day.month.year.
- If you are booking a return trip, select the return date in a similar manner.
- Select the number of passengers from the dropdowns.
- Click Continue, and flight availability and pricing information will be shown.
- Select the date or dates, then the desired fare type. The total prices of the alternatives are conveniently visible.
- You will see a review of the trip you are about to book. Check that it is correct and click Continue.
- Fill in the passenger information. Before clicking Continue, tick on the checkbox for additional services, if you travel with sports equipment (skies, surfboards, snowboards or bicycles) or select a seat when applicable.
- Fill in the payment information.
- You will see a confirmation page. Print it or write down the booking reference (booking number), a code consisting of 6 characters (letters and digits).
- Now you have finished booking and you can make other bookings (hotel, car, activities) for your trip, using the buttons on the confirmation page.
On the basis of the card number that you have specified in step 6, we can identify all the information about your booking as stored in our system. This is called travelling with e-Ticket or electronic ticket. You will receive the confirmation as well as a receipt (the latter is always in English), which you can use as documentation for your own needs.
Notes on booking:
- You can book up to 45 minutes before the scheduled departure.
- You need to book within 20 minutes from the start of the booking process by clicking Continue in the booking form. After that time, the process automatically stops and you need to start from the beginning.
Exceptions
In some special cases we advise, you cannot use online booking but must contact Blue1 Sales Center:
- Reservations for unaccompanied minors, passengers with reduced mobility, blind or deaf passengers, and large groups (more than 9 adults)
- Reservations containing speical baggage like baby chairs, musical instruments, or pets
In the following cases, use a special SAS booking system (in English):
